As a nonprofit organization committed to increasing access to culturally and linguistically responsive care, we provide training designed to help professionals better serve Spanish-speaking communities. Learn essential therapeutic terminology and gain the confidence to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients in clinical settings. Whether you are a beginner or already have experience with Spanish, this training is designed to support all language levels.

Decide what you need to help you learn more Spanish. 

We have live-online classes, self-learn packages, a Reference Manual, Intake forms, and much more. You can look around in our website.

If you are interested in the live-online classes watch the mini-orientation above. This will give you an idea of what level to being in  (we have 5: Basics 1, Basics 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Advanced). Each level has 20 classes. The schedule is found on the tab "Try a Free class". each class is 1 hour long. You are not required to attend all the classes you can pay as you go. You can also jump in to any cohort  that has started since the classes are designed that way. If you are interested in something else you can go to the Store and purchase it right there.

Once you watch the video you can email us (SpanishfortherapistInstitute@gmail.com) and we will send you a code for a free class for you to try!

Decide how to pay for your classes. You can pay as you attend each class ($20 each) on the calendar under the tab "Try a Free Class". You can also pay for all 20 classes and receive 10% off under "Schedule". You can also have your employer pay for the classes and we can email them an invoice directly just email us.

Once you sign up and pay for your class(es) you will receive an email with the Zoom link to join your class. If you are not able to make the class please email us with 24-hour notification and we will give you credit for another class or we can  send you the video. If you do not provide us with enough notice we will automatically send you the video and presentation for you to review yourself.

CE course in Waikiki, Hawaii September 2026

 A multidisciplinary cultural awareness training will be held in Waikiki for medical personnel, mental health providers, educators, and community professionals serving diverse populations. The training will focus on increasing cultural competence and strengthening professionals’ understanding of the unique experiences, values, and barriers often faced by Latino individuals and families. Topics include culturally responsive communication, the impact of immigration-related stress, family dynamics within Latino communities, language access, trauma-informed care, and reducing disparities in healthcare and educational settings. Participants will engaged in discussions, case examples, and collaborative learning activities designed to improve service delivery and foster more inclusive, respectful, and effective support for Latino populations across medical, educational, and mental health systems.
